Avon Library Morning Book Club

-A A +A

Interested in meeting new people? Looking for an opportunity to engage in interesting discussions? Want to explore books you might not ordinarily choose? If the answer is yes, consider joining the Morning Book Club at the Avon Free Public Library.

The informal group meets one Wednesday a month at 10:00 a.m.  Everyone is welcome, no registration required. The July 19 meeting will be “Fan Favorites.” Bring a favorite book to share with the group for a fun, casual discussion. The August 16 discussion will feature  Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat who Touched the World by Vicky Myron, followed by Hillbilly Elegy by J.D. Vance on September 27, and Dreamland: The True tale of America’s Opiate Epidemic by Sam Quinones (postponed from  July 19) on October 18.

The library is at 281 Country Club Road in Avon. For further information, please call the library at 860.673.9712 ext. 4 or visit us online at www.avonctlibrary.info.
