CT Daylily Society Meeting & Program

The Connecticut Daylily Society will host guest speakers Margo Reed and Jim Murphy of Woodhenge Gardens. The prolific pair garden near the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and specialize in hardy exotic daylilies, with spiders and unusual forms comprising the majority of their introductions. Margo and Jim are both AHS garden judges, and select plants for good habit, vigorous growth, sunfastness, and unique appearance. You can check out their gorgeous daylilies at woodhengegardens.com.

Our social hour with delicious and popular potluck lunch begins at 11am and will be followed by a brief business meeting. Then get ready for our phenomenal double feature! Of course, there will be fabulous daylily door prizes, and attendance is always free of charge!

The Avon Senior Center is located at 635 West Avon Road in Avon, CT at the junction of Sycamore Hills and Scoville Roads (at the Sycamore Hills Recreation Center).
