Avon Free Public Library Film Series: Inspired by True Stories

“Inspired by True Stories” is the theme for a new film series at the Avon Free Public Library.  Feature films inspired by actual events and people will be shown on Tuesday afternoons.  The lineup is as follows:

Tuesday, December 18 @ 1:30 pm. Victoria & Abdul. The unlikely friendship between Queen Victoria and a young Indian clerk named Abdul Karim. Starring Judi Dench and Ali Fazal. (2017, 1 hr. and 51 min., Rated PG-13.)

All films will begin at 1:30 p.m. and will be shown in the Community Room at the Avon Free Public Library, 281 Country Club Road, Avon, CT 06001. Free, no registration required, and snacks will be provided.
