First Friday Dinners at Avon Congregational Church

The dinners are $13 (adult) and $7 (child 10 and under). Diners may purchase tickets at the church office, Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., or at the door.

After a busy day during the holiday season, why not end it at Avon Congregational Church where Mama Boswell and her team of cooks has seasoned and gently cooked her popular “beef bourguignon” recipe.  This flavorful dish will be accompanied by vegetables and bread. The renowned “Dessert Buffet”, including coffee and tea completes your dining experience.

A portion of the dinner proceeds will go to Hands on Hartford, a social service non-profit that serves Hartford’s neediest residents.
