THE ANNIVERSARY OF... A documentary movie series highlighting significant anniversaries

2019 is a year of significant anniversaries and the Avon Free Public Library will be honoring some of those important dates with a documentary film series beginning in June. The lineup is as follows:

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz: The Making of a Movie Classic

Celebrate the 80th anniversary of the beloved 1939 classic with this documentary about the making of the movie. Hosted by Angela Lansbury, this fun and entertaining 2017 film includes rare behind-the-scenes footage, deleted scenes, and fascinating reminiscences from cast members. (2017 ; 51 min. ; Not Rated)
