The Avon Free Public Library will present CT Wineries: A Virtual Tour with Michelle Griffis “The Nutmeg Nose” on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 6:30 pm.

Fall is a great time to discover the beautiful vineyards of Connecticut!

Take a virtual ride through Connecticut’s wine country and learn about its 40+ wineries. Our wine guide is Michelle Griffis, aka “The Nutmeg Nose.” Michelle will discuss the wide array of fantastic, award-winning wineries here in our state. She will also share ideas for dining that include vineyards with on-site cafes, food trucks, and picnic options. Whether you like a crisp white, a hearty red, or a dry rosé, you’re sure to discover a new wine for your palette. And with beautiful scenery, daily tastings, and live music, Connecticut wineries make great destinations!
