Holiday Donation Program
The Town of Avon, Department of Social Services is seeking local families, individuals, and other parties who would be interested in sponsoring an Avon family/Avon Families in need for the Thanksgiving holiday and/or Winter holiday.

Thanksgiving Donations:
Drop off is Monday November 20, 2023, 8:00am - 10:30am, at the Avon Food Pantry, located behind St. Ann's Church at 289 Arch Rd (corner of 167 and Arch Rd).
You may also drop off items at the Avon Food Pantry on any Tuesday prior to the drop off deadline, from 9:30am-11:30am, or by appointment, call 860-409-4346.
Grocery store gift cards in increments of $25 and under are also welcome.
**Please remember that drop off deadlines are very important! ** Most of our families in need work part or full time, have children, and/or are elderly or disabled- these factors limit their availability! By donating on, or before, the listed deadlines help ensure that all clients will have the ability to retrieve food and gift items in time to celebrate their holidays! Thank you!
Winter Holiday Donations:
Retail store gift cards in increments of $25 and under are also welcome.
Donations can be dropped off at the Avon Social Services Office, located in Building 5, Second Floor, at Avon Town Hall, between 9:30am-3:30pm. Appointments are encouraged, please call, 860-409-4346 to schedule.
