March 9, 2022 Update

At its March 3rd meeting, the Town Council held a discussion on a number of ARPA ideas that have been submitted by Town and Board of Education staff and members of the public to date. A recording of the March 3rd meeting can be found HERE. The ARPA discussion begins at 55:10.

A worksheet of proposed and approved projects that has been updated based on the March 3rd discussion can be found HERE.  You will note that projects have been divided into five color-coded categories:

  1. Blue: Projects for which a supplemental appropriation has been approved, for which approval of a supplemental appropriation is in progress as of this writing, or for which an appropriation is included in the recommended FY23 capital budget.
  2. Green: Projects that the Town Council is ready to move forward with in the near future.
  3. Yellow: Projects that the Town Council may be interested in pursuing but require more information in order to make a firm decision.
  4. Red: Projects that the Town Council has identified to not be a priority for ARPA funding at this time. These projects may be revisited in the future under ARPA, or with another funding source.
  5. Brown: Projects that were not reviewed on March 3rd due to time. No decision has been made on these projects at this time.

You will also notice purple text throughout the worksheet. Purple indicates project ideas that were added during or after the March 3rd meeting or information about existing projects that has been updated. Please note that the contents of the worksheet are subject to change as projects are refined and new information is received.
