March 16, 2016 Update

The Engineering Department has completed the design of the sanitary sewers for the Paperchase Trail and Hurdle Fence Drive neighborhood.  In order to have an accurate cost estimate for the project, we have gone out to bid for the project.  The bids are currently due to be submitted at the end of March.  This should give the Engineering Department enough time to evaluate the bids, determine if there are discrepancies, and proivde meaningful information to the neighborhood residents by the April 14th Avon Water Pollution Control Authority (AWPCA)meeting, which will be held at 7:00 pm.

November 10, 2015 update:

The Town has revised the gravity sewer design making it shallower at its deepest points with a goal of reducing costs.  We have also met with a low-pressure sewer vendor and have gotten a preliminary design and budget estimate for the installation of low-pressure sewers in the neighborhood.  Given the time of year, we have decided to solicit bids for the work, so that we can acquire true costs for the project.  Once these are in hand, we will inform the residents and conduct another public information session.
