Morning Book Club at Avon Library

Interested in meeting new people? Looking for an opportunity to engage in interesting discussions? Want to explore books you might not ordinarily choose? If the answer is yes, consider joining the Morning Book Club.  The informal group meets once a month on Wednesday mornings at the Avon Free Public Library. Everyone is welcome, no registration required. Books are available ahead of time at the Reference Desk. The Winter 2019 schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, January 16, 2019 @ 10:30 a.m. The Commoner by John Burnham Schwartz. A novel about the first commoner to enter the mysterious world of Japanese royalty in 1959.

Wednesday, February 20, 2019 @ 10:30 a.m. Celine by Peter Heller. The story of an aristocratic private eye who specializes in reuniting families.

Wednesday, March 20, 2019 @ 10:30 a.m. Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman. A funny, touching story with an out-of-the-ordinary heroine.
