CT Daylily Society Lunch & Program

On Saturday, January 25, 2020, the Connecticut Daylily Society will welcome Rich Howard of CT Daylily. Rich is well-known in daylily circles for his groundbreaking, broken-color bloom, but his program, entitled "‘Explosion at the Paint Factory’ and Beyond” will take attendees from that landmark plant to Rich’s more recent, and equally exciting, registrations and seedlings. We are truly in for a treat, especially as Rich is “one of our own.” If you’re interested in plants that do well in CT, then you can’t go wrong with Rich Howard’s introductions!

Rich’s sale garden boasts cutting edge plants from a slew of renowned hybridizers. He sells potted daylilies that are simply unmatched for size and vigor. Check out his offerings at ctdaylily.com.

The Connecticut Daylily Society’s social hour with delicious and popular Soups’ On potluck lunch begins at noon, followed by a brief business meeting and Rich’s presentation at 1 pm. Take the chill off with a selection of soups, chowders, and chilis! As always, there will be fabulous daylily door prizes, and attendance is absolutely free of charge. CDS warmly welcomes anyone with a passion for plants!

The Avon Senior Center is located at 635 West Avon Road in Avon, CT at the junction of Sycamore and Scoville Roads (at the Sycamore Hills Recreation Center).
