Pumpkin Pie Pop Tarts Cook Along (Virtual Zoom Program) hosted by Avon Library

Pumpkin Pie Pop Tarts
Event Date:
Saturday, October 24, 2020 - 11:00am

The Avon Free Public Library will be presenting an online Zoom baking program.  Join Katie Shepard, Registered Dietitian from Food Explorers, to make Pumpkin Pie Pop Tarts from scratch!

You’ll learn how to make the filling, pastry and a delicious glaze for this fun fall treat.  You’ll need the following ingredients for the recipe: flour, sugar, butter, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, powdered sugar, cream cheese, an egg, and assorted optional spices (cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice). No special equipment required but you will need a rolling pin. This recipe is nut free.

This is a perfect baking activity for parents and children to do together.

This is an online Zoom class. Class size is limited and registration is required. If signing up for a family, please register only once, and use the adult’s name. Registration begins October 17th.

Once you are registered, you’ll receive the recipe and instructions.
