Avon Cong'l Church Collecting Every Day this Week for their 40th Annual Rummage Sale

Avon Congregational Church is seeking items for its 40th Annual Rummage Sale!

Donations for the sale may be dropped off at the church, located at 6 West Main St., on the following dates/times: Daytimes: Sunday, Sept 18 (11-2); Mon – Thurs, Sept. 19 – 22 (10-2). Evenings: Mon & Tues, Sept. 18 & 19, (5-7). Please note: A Collection Agent will advise what items we can take when dropped off. All items must be dropped off during the times listed when an agent is on duty.

Seeking dishware, art, silver, antiques, folk art, jewelry, collectibles, vintage toys, fine table linens and decorative housewares. We’ll also collect ‘finer’ general housewares, lamps and small newer appliances (like blenders, toasters, air fryers and other useful kitchen items). Regarding furniture: We are seeking only antiques and smaller ‘occasional furniture’. Questions? Contact our Office at 860-678-0488.
