Reducing Stress Through Meditation

The scientific community has recently been exploring the use of meditation as a healing modality. Join John Bendarik as he discusses the extraordinary effect meditation has in reducing stress-related responses, improving concentration, enhancing clarity of thought and mental equilibrium. He will also present a simple, yet powerful meditation technique that can enrich one’s life personally, professionally and spiritually. There will even be a short meditation sitting.

Presenter: John M. Bednarik has been practicing meditation for over 30 years and has been giving presentations on this topic for decades at numerous public libraries and other venues. In a very challenging and stress ridden occupation, John has held a lot of responsibility. He brought meditation into his life to help with his own personal stress relief and, experiencing its many benefits, now helps others to do the same.
