Destinations are anywhere in Avon, Simsbury Commons (formerly Farmington Valley Mall), Unionville Center, Collinsville Center, Canton Village, The Shoppes at Farmington Valley -Canton, CT, and John Dempsey/UConn Hospital.  Medical appointments are given priority and can be scheduled far in advance.  Other rides should be scheduled through the service provider (phone 860-693-6876) between 24 and 48 hours in advance.  Urgent, same-day requests can be accommodated, only if there is a cancellation or an opening.  The hours of operation for rides are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.  No rides are available on days when the Town Hall is closed.

Service availability may be limited regarding ongoing/multiple weekly medical appointments. Transportation for medical appointments outside of the Avon service area, such as in Hartford, is available through our "Enhanced Dial-A-Ride Service".

This Service is available thanks to a grant through the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation.
