DSS Launches Centralized Phone-System
Earlier this week, Connecticut's Department of Social Services (DSS) launched a new centralized phone system in an effort to improve the agency's technology.  The new statewide phone number (1-855-6-CONNECT) takes callers through a series of prompts and, if necessary, will connect them to a worker in one of three new call centers.
