December 8, 2023 Update

At its November 2nd meeting, the Town Council approved an appropriation of $25,000 to support the Avon Fuel Bank. The Board of Finance will consider the appropriation at its November 27th meeting.

There were no new appropriations approved at the December 7th Town Council meeting. As of this writing a total of $4.206 million has been appropriated and a balance of $1.2 million remains unobligated. Approved projects are outlined on the Proposed Funding Plan Worksheet. A pie chart illustrating the distribution of appropriated (approved), proposed and unallocated ARPA funds by functional area can be found below.
